"The mountains as sentinels for climate change: Nature speaks" - this is the title of the conference organised by L'Altro Versante together with the CNR and MUSE, held on Wednesday 14 June at 18.00 at the science museum of Trento. The mountains are heavily exposed to the negative impact of the increase of temperature, with the risk of losing essential features, first of all water. There will be discussion on why the mountains are warming up more than other regions and the impact of this amplified warming up on the state of the glaciers and various aspects of high altitude ecosystems which are at risk nowadays.
