Tolfa, mysterious nature close to Rome di bruno damicis

Tolfa Hills.
Here most of the naturalists from Rome have moved their first steps and these hills represent one of the last patches of Mediterranean montane habitat in Italy. The wooden pastures and the rocky steppes; the imposing Maremmana cows; the tuff canyons carved by rumbling water streams; the blue skies crossed by dozens of birds of prey; wolves walking in the shadows and thousands of orchids basking on the slopes.
